A greenish-yellow, clean, bright wine with hints of jasmine, aniseed, and white and citrus fruits. In mouth, it is fresh, acidic and lingering.

It pairs well with steamed vegetables, salads, cheeses and white meats.

SARA BAÑUELOS, Technical Director of Bodegas Ramón Bilbao Rueda. Agricultural Engineer and Degree in Oenology at the University of La Rioja. Her favorite wine in the afternoon is Edicion Limitada and Ramón Bilbao Sauvignon Blanc fills her with positivity in the morning.

HARVEST AND VINE SELECTION

A dry year of mild temperatures, with rain at the end of August, favouring the development of primary aromas and phenolic ripeness.

ELABORATION AND FERMENTATION

Temperature control allows the yeast to work without stress, resulting in a broad aromatic palette. Work carried out wih carbon dioxide and nitrogen prevents contact with oxygen, promoting greater longevity. Slow, cold fermentation in stainless steel deposits.

TASTING NOTES

A greenish-yellow, medium-intensity wine, which is clean, bright and produces tears on the glass. In nose, it is intense with hints of jasmine, aniseed, white and citrus fruits and notes of bay leaf and hay. In mouth, it is fresh, acidic and long, displaying perfect alcoholic balance. The finish is reminiscent of citrus fruits and flowers.

PAIRING

Pairs well with steamed vegetables, salads, cheeses and white meats. Serve between 11ºC and 13ºC for optimal enjoyment.
