Greenish-yellow with hints of cut grass, citrus fruits, and exotic fruits like lychee in nose. In mouth, it is fresh and balanced.
An ideal accompaniment for fish, seafood, sushi, and steamed vegetables.
WINE MAKER
SARA BAÑUELOS, Technical Director of Bodegas Ramón Bilbao Rueda. Agricultural Engineer and Degree in Oenology at the University of La Rioja. Her favorite wine in the afternoon is Edicion Limitada and Ramón Bilbao Sauvignon Blanc fills her with positivity in the morning.
First harvest, carried out at night at Finca Las Amedias, located in Rueda, at an altitude of 770m. The vines are selected from each plot, ensuring they are in their optimal stage of ripeness for this kind of short cycle characterised by early ripening.
Very slow vinification in cement, lightly toasted wooden foudres and stainless steel, at the controlled temperaure of 16ºC, which is later adjusted to 14º C for the development of thyolic aromas. Gentle microoxygenation and contact with lees right up to botelling, aiming to enhance volume and creaminess. Potential for ageing in bottle.
Greenish-yellow and low intensity, this wine offers aromas of cut grass, as well as citrus and exotic fruits such as lychee and passion fruit. It is fresh, well-balanced and shows acidity in mouth. Citrus fruits and herbal notes in aftertaste.
An ideal accompaniment to fish, seafood, sushi, and steamed vegetables. Serve between 7ºC and 9ºC.
