Since 2017, we have belonged to the Wineries for Climate Protection programme, the first and only specific certification for the wine sector with regard to environmental sustainability backed by the FEV (Spanish Wine Federation). In addition, we were the first winery in Spain to also certify our vineyard.

R&D for an agriculture that is more respectful of ecosystems and biodiversity
We owe all of our success to the land we cultivate, the land that has allowed us to achieve greatness. And in order to return a little bit of what it has given us, we use techniques in our vineyard that seek sustainability.
We have installed pheromone diffusers that use sexual confusion to prevent pests such as moths from laying their eggs in the grapes.
The sheep manure we use allows us to replace nutrients extracted through grape production and improve the soil’s biological activity.
We use latest generation machinery that has a minimal impact on gas emissions.
We train the viticulturists we work with in biodynamic culture, seeking a balance between securing production and conserving the environment.
We use technology such as smart irrigation, weather stations and drones to compile information and improve vineyard efficiency.
We cultivate high-altitude vineyards, achieving optimal ripeness, improving ventilation to prevent disease and obtaining products with a fresh profile.
In order to understand our soil and the biodiversity within it and to be able to apply sustainable solutions, we have several R+D projects underway, such as studies on the microbiota, trunk diseases, and prevention of powdery and downy mildew.
We have installed wooden nests to encourage goshawk breeding as well as perches for the birds of prey.
