100% Garnacha
Vineyards and Climate
The vineyards are located in the highest part of the easternmost part of La Rioja. Northern exposure and continental-atlantic climate. Altitude 500-600m.
Soils
Shallow, alluvial and gravel soil with little moisture retention. Warm, favouring ripening through the absorption of temperature from the stones.
Wine maker
Rodolfo Bastida, technical director and Winemaker of our winery, has managed to transmit the style and unique personality of Ramón Bilbao to a unique wine that explores new places in Rioja.
Vinification and Ageing
Pre fermentative maceration to preserve the floral aromas and colour extraction. Fermentation in concrete (with a percentage of stems to bring freshness and tannins) at 24oC. Aged in different materials (amphora, 600-litre barrels and concrete). Blended and aged in French 225l barriques for 10 months.

Appearance
Ruby-red. High depth of colour, clear, bright and tears on the glass
Nose
Intense and complex, with notes of fresh red-berried fruit, blossom, pink pepper and herbal nuances.
Mouth
Fresh. Good acidity and pleasant tannin. A balanced, harmonious wine with a long finish.
Food Pairing
Perfect to accompany red meat, mature cheeses, rice dishes with meat and game birds.
