Madrid, August 3, 2017.- In its constant quest to rediscover new horizons, Ramón Bilbao is to partner with the San Sebastián International for a second year in a row in its opening ceremony. A relationship where both the Festival and the winery share the same basic aim: to look at the world with different eyes; in the case of the Festival to rediscover cinema and in the case of Ramón Bilbao to rediscover the Rioja region in each of its wines.
The opening ceremony will take place on September 22 in the San Telmo Museum, an emblematic location in San Sebastián, with 1,000 guests expected to attend. In this 65th San Sebastián Film Festival, the Ramón Bilbao wines accompanying the ceremony will be: Ramón Bilbao Sauvignon Blanc, a firm bet from the new Ramón Bilbao winery in Rueda, to be launched in September, and Ramón Bilbao Edición Limitada, an innovative premium Tempranillo for refined daring palettes which is characterized for the selection of only the best grape varieties and barrels. Two types of wine whose characteristics perfectly match the moment they represent: an extremely glamorous evening attended by national and international VIPs.
Throughout the year the winery has shown its predilection for culture and in addition to its presence in the Festival opening ceremony, it has partnered the world-class violinist Ara Malikian on his world tour, specifically in 28 concerts held in Spain. These initiatives serve to reinforce the winery’s aims to discover new horizons and transfer them to its wines.
Our aim to offer our customers the highest standards, from the vineyard to the point of sale, requires extremely high standards only attained through a passion for constant improvement.
