RAMÓN BILBAO ACHIEVES FOUR MEDALS AT THE INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION BACCHUS 2014

Two Gold Medals for Mirto by Ramón Bilbao 2009 and Monte Blanco de Ramón Bilbao 2013 (Rueda) and two silver for Ramón Bilbao Limited Edition 2011 and Ramón Bilbao Reserva 2009 have been the impressive results obtained at the Bacchus International Wine Competition 2014.

Organized by the Spanish Wine Tasters Union, it is the only competition in Spain recognized by the O.I.V. (International Organisation of Vine and Wine)

With these results, Ramón Bilbao becomes one of the most awarded winery at this competition, organized by the Spanish Wine Tasters Union which is undoubtedly the most prestigious Spanish Wine Contest.

The XII edition ended on March 18th, when more than 1.500 wines were tasted by over 100 judges. During four days Madrid becomes the World Wine Capital. The tasting panel is made with Masters of Wine, Masters Sommeliers, winemakers and journalists. It is highly remarkable that the best Spanish White Wine has also been made by Ramón Bilbao.
